Cute things Annika says (Part 1)

This week at Awana, Annika learned about the story of Jesus in the boat, and how he told the wind and the waves to be still, and they were.  We were talking about it, and I asked her, "If I told the wind to stop blowing, would it?"  She said "No, you're not Jesus."  Smart kid.  I think she got the gist of the whole story! 

Fast forward to this morning, when she put on a pair of pants she got for Christmas.  They are getting too short on her. ALREADY.  I told her she needed to stop growing.  She then said "But Mom, you're not Jesus, so my body isn't going to obey you."  I'm glad she realizes that!
