Clark sure seems to bring out the silly in our children.  Annika asked that I take a picture of her new hat so that "people will laugh at me!"

It's been a while since I've shown Saturday pictures!  This past week, Annika and I had a "lego date".  She got some really nifty lego from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas, so we set it up and played!

Annika is slowly learning how to follow the pictures and put things together.  We even made some stuff from our imagination, which she thought was pretty cool too.  "Mom, I didn't know you could just make stuff without a plan!"

 Annika's group of things made by her - from left to right:

• a desk and chair
• a bed
• a flat screen TV
• a little house
• a wagon for her horse to pull

I made her a house.  She was quite impressed.

If anyone has ever been to my house for breakfast, and I've made pancakes, then you will know that I typically burn my first pancake.  I finally got smart and started pre-heating the frying pan, and so now I make wonderful first pancakes.  Today's pancake took the gold though.  It was perfectly cooked, but before it could turn brown.  An albino pancake.  Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?

The cat got stuck in Tyler's window the other day.  It's a good thing that I just happened to be walking down the hallway, or who knows how long he would have been sitting there.  As it was, I'm not sure how long he was there before I found him!

I'm sure other people have this problem.  Their children don't like to wear clothes.  It doesn't seem to matter what I put them in in the morning, by mid-afternoon, you can find one or two little girls running around the house in some state of undress.  This was the case on Thursday afternoon.  We had to run to the store, so I told Annika to put some pants on.

She came down the hall and said, "I couldn't find any of my pants, so I'm wearing a pair of Abigail's."  Well, it turns out they weren't Abigail's pants.  That's right, these belong to Tyler.  The size?  3-6 months.  They fit her pretty good!

In the 70's, my Mom had a wig that she would wear.  I'm not quite sure why, since it pretty much looked like her real hair.  I also don't know how I inherited it, but it's been sitting in my house for years.  I know when I was in high school I wore it for a dress up day.  I should see if I can scrounge up a picture. 

Anyway, it has now been passed down to my girls, who decided to wear it the other day.  Aren't they cute Moogie?

Ok, here you go.  The long awaited pictures from our barter.  I couldn't decide which pictures to show you, so I think you're going to get most of them!  I apologize in advance if you think it's too many...but I have REALLY CUTE KIDS!

Tyler wasn't too sure about this photo shoot stuff.  Notice the worried expression.

I think they were looking at me. I love how they are at least all looking in the same direction, even if it isn't at the camera!



There's that elusive smile!  The only one we got the whole day.

Annika was definitely the star of our shoot!  I think she did everything Joey asked of her without complaining.

This munchkin was battling a cold so she wasn't too cooperative.  I'm glad we got a couple of good shots...though I had to bribe her with her soother!

We're vising Grandma and Grandpa this weekend.  Annika has been so excited all week.  Friday morning, while packing the van, she said "It will be so good to spend some time with Grandma."

Two little girls got into washable markers.  Guess what?  They don't come off of skin very well.  This picture is before the two baths they have had...but it looks the same, just a little bit paler.  Also, try to imagine the marker on the stomach, arms and face as well....
